Student Council

STUDENT COUNCIL Izghawa campus.

This year Awfaz  held elections in all classes from Year 3 upwards, for a Student Council. The international law called ‘Convention for the Rights of the Child’ states that:

‘Children have the right to say what they think should happen, when adults are making decisions that affect them, and to have their opinions taken into account.’ (Article 12)

We have embraced this philosophy at AGS and the newly formed Student Council has already, during it’s meeting, formed a Charter that identifies it’s role in the day-to-day running of the school (see this below).
